ALL Electric Floor Heat installations REQUIRE the use of a digital Multi Meter (aka Ohm meter - must be digital - no needles/dials). We offer this low cost meter for your convenience; use your own one if possible.

Dial your meter to ' 200 ' in the green range to test heating elements (a few Heating elements range is over 200 Ohms, so move your meter setting to ' 2,000 ' or ' 2K ' in this case)

To check the Thermostat's Sensor Wire, set the meter on the range marked ' 20K ' or 20,000.
