HeatTrak Heated stair mats Eliminate Shoveling Snow by providing you automatic snow melting right out of the box. The 10” x 30” stair mats have an 18” cable that is long enough to connect to the next stair or mat. We also sell 20” extension cables if you need them longer.
Remember, each set of Residential Snow-Melting Mats requires one Power Unit to connect the system to an electrical outlet. If you do not buy a power unit, your system will not work.
HeatTrak's Residential Heated Snow-Melting Stair Mats plug in and Melt Snow on contact. They are an economical, environmentally safe and easy choice to melt snow as it falls, helping to prevent the accumulation of snow and ice on walkways outside your home. Made of specialized thermoplastic material, the mats are portable and are designed to be left outside all winter long!
The HeatTrak mats generate heat to melt snow at a rate of 2' per hour leaving the walkway to your home clean and clear 24/7. We also have Snow-Melting Walkway Mats to connect to our Heated Stair Mats; they can be used independently or interconnected with one another to create a continuous system of snow melting mats. With the mats built in watertight connector cables, you can connect several Residential Mats to create your perfect heated walkway snow melting solution - all on a single plug!
Residential Mats & Stairs can only connect to other Residential Mats or stairs. They do not connect to our Heavy Duty Commercial-Industrial Heated mats or stairs. The Residential and Commercial systems have different connections.
Each Residential Heated Walkway Mat and Residential Stair Mat comes with its own built in watertight connector cables. A customer can use the watertight connector cables to connect the mats to other Residential Mats or to a Power Unit (sold separately). Every group of Residential Mats requires one GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) Power Unit to connect the system to an electrical outlet. A customer can connect up to 15 Residential Stair Mats, 5 Residential Walkway Mats, or any combination thereof (up to 12.5 amps) on a single Power Unit. If your run is longer, simply buy an extra power unit.

They were very easy to install and worked wonderfully well all winter.Fortunately for me, last year my daughter-in-law had bought six Warm Your Floor treads for the steps which lead to my porch in the front of the house. They were very easy to install and worked wonderfully well all winter. So this winter I bought four orders (3 treads in each) to cover the back stairs in my house. That part of the house gets...
STAIR MATSWe finally made the investment and purchase the 3 attached stair mats and 3 additional individual ones for our front porch. We have always struggled with ice due to the pitch of our roof.
What a pleasure it has been to have a section of our stairs perfectly clear...whether we have had 2, 3 and as much as 8 inches of snow, along with melting...
