Install Steps

Step 1:

Plan your layout and determine the cable direction. Measure

about 3" in. inches from the wall, and place strap parallel to

the wall. Under toe kick spaces, install the strap 1.5"in. inches

to 2" in. inches away from the vanity.

Step 2:

Cut the strap to length for each side of area

to be heated.

Step 3:

Secure the strap to the subfloor using double-sided

tape, glue, or fasteners.

Step 4:

Fill in each section back and forth with cable,

spacing the wire 2.5" or 3" in. inches

apart. For additional areas, cut and attach the

straps accordingly and begin weaving the

wire into that area.

 Important:

If cables are running greater than 3' or 4'ft. feet across a room, be sure to add another

strap to thread through in the center of the area to be heated.

Overall
100% worth the investment

My husband and dad installed the WarmWire system with the HeatMatrix membrane in our new master bathroom and it was not only easy, but now we have a very comfortable bath experience.

I would recommend piecing out the parts versus buying a kit.

I gave my dimensions to Warm Your Floor and described the application of in a basement on a slab. They adjusted the spacing and it fit perfectly.

Floor works great!! Excellent product.
Overall
We installed the wire on DITRA heat under large format tile and it worked fine without self-leveling compound
Review by
The size of the wire fits nicely within the DITRA heat stud pattern and we didn't need to gouge for the sensor tip - just built up the mortar bed a bit.

Love the WarmWire line of products

I'm a DIY type and I've installed the WarmWire 3 different times now in 2 different homes. I love the flexibility and cost benefit of using the loose wire compared to the mats. You do need to be accurate in measuring and planning so as to not end up with too little (cold spot) or too much (big problem) wire. The installation is quite straight forward and the installation manual/instructions are excellent. We just completed a renovation of our entire upstairs and are currently enjoying a nice warm tile floor in the bathroom. FYI my first installation was about 10 years ago and I was equally pleased and impressed then as well.
Overall
great to have option to buy just wire
Review by
The tiling contractor purchased the wrong size kit for our tile job; we discovered this on a Thursday before a holiday weekend. I found the correct size wire spool here and had it shipped 2nd day and we only lost one day on a very tight schedule. Oh, and my tile floor gets toasty warm!

We were very pleased with the versatility and easy installation of Warm Wire.

We were very pleased with the versatility and easy installation of Warm Wire. Combined with Cerazorb mats as a thermal break, our on-slab installation went smoothly. We followed a recommendation for using Cerazorb edge strip kits along with self leveling compound to embed the wire prior to tiling. This method worked extremely well and I would consider it a go to method for any on slab application. The difference in floor temperature is remarkable. Our clients are thrilled as well.

I wish I could remember the name of the customer service gal who suggested the Warm Wire product to me when I called with what I thought was an installation dilemma. We had 240V service but the room wasn't large enough for any of the 240V mats. She suggested running the shortest available 240V Warm Wire at the closest recommended spacing - and it was perfect! The metal strapping made the spacing effortless. She really saved the day. Thanks for a great product, we'll be using it again, I'm sure.

System is working great under mosaic tile floor!
Review by
As advertised. Advise using a hot glue gun, lower temp, to additionally fastening wires to substrate before leveling compound is poured. Keeps the wires from "floating". Thermostat works fine. Get more than you think you'll need (cover the entire open floor area). Temps drop off quickly at wires end . System is working great under mosaic tile floor! Will by another for master bath remodel.

I love my warm floors
Review by
A couple of years ago I put a Sun Touch heating mat in my bathroom when I put in new tile and I LOVE it. So when I remodeled my kitchen I decided to put in a warm wire system under the tile. Since I needed a decoupling membrane under the ceramic tile, I went with a Schluter Ditra product called Ditra Heat. When I compared pricing, the warm wire heating cable was $155 cheaper than the comparable cable sold by Schluter, so I pulled the trigger and bought it here. The cable fits between the orange octagons nicely and wasn't difficult to follow the instructions and the project went without a hitch. My floor is done now and walking on it barefoot is a real pleasure. Its so warm and comfortable. My wife and I love it.

Works well. I am satisfied with the product and performance.

Works well. I am satisfied with the product and performance. If i had a second chance I would install it in the shower area as well. I figured warm shower water would be sufficient, but going from nicely heated floor into unheated shower floor highlights how big of a difference it makes even when the warm water is running.

Great Product

Installed this cable under a marble floor on a concrete slab. Installation was easy with the metal strap. I ordered the SunStat Pro II and like its flexability. I like getting up to warm floors, and the same going to bed. Right now I have the preset program but I will customize it to our schedule in a while.

I installed the heating wire over a concrete slab under ceramic and it is heating great.
