The Raychem LCD-8 Aerial Snow Switch senses ambeint temperature and precipitation and regulates heat tracing cable systems accordingly for optimized freeze protection. The unit is compatible with oth 120 and 240v sustems and can be used to control a single heat trace system on its own or as a pilot control for multiple systems when used in conjunction with a contactor panel. The switch also has a 5-hour hold timer that can be activated manually to keep melted snow and ice from refreezing after precipitation levels have dropped below the sensor's threshold.
