Hard to Use

This unit is hard to program, then won't keep a program. After a poser failure, which happens to us often, this unit does not reset. I can't trust it. This is at a beach house I am often not at, and I can't trust this to operate as I wish. I am going to replace it with something simpler and more reliable.

This was just what we needed. Old thermostat stopped working--didn't realize how much we would miss the warm floor! Having a bit of trouble programming, though. For now, I've left it at the preset temps!!

Fantastic system overall, however, the thermostats hum. Don't know why but it is annoying. Also, I agree with Dave and Alan, it does not program very well.

This model is challenging to use and to program. It's one of those deals where you have to press a lot of buttons to move between time and day programs. This kind of thing, in an age of the ease of Apple iHome things is just about intolerable.

Very Nice Thermostat - Works well and installs easily

I have another older thermostat from another company and have now realized how difficult it is to use! This one from SunTouch is great! It is easy to read and know what is going on - floor temperature and current temperature setting - very easy to read display. I had to program for each day, as we get up very early for work ( I would love to be able to use the default schedule! ) It takes a little patience to program daily, but has a lot of flexibility since each day is separate.
Overall works great and someday might replace my other one with this! I would recommend highly !

This product works well if you use the pre programmed On/Off settings that come from the factory, but, trying to customize the settings is a layman's nightmare. The instructions refer to buttons like "edit" that don't exist. The propeller head who wrote the instructions definitely wasn't thinking of the bone heads of the world like me. Very frustrating.

I renovated my bathroom just so that I could enjoy the pleasure of having heated tile. It is the best!
This is the second SunStat Pro that I have installed. The first was the PRO I model and the second was the PRO II. Both worked well and were easy to install and program The PRO I was tough to take apart without fear of breaking some connector pins but PRO II was better.
