Description
This beautiful all-in-one thermostat is the latest innovation from SunTouch to control all 120 or 240 VAC floor heating systems, via its glass touch screen or voice control with Alexa or Google.
The ConnectPlus controls a single zone of electric floor heat and includes a built-in GFCI for safety. Achieve the best results by setting it to control the floor temperature using the included 15 Ft sensor wire and, optionally limit the floor temperature or configure to control the space through air temperature alone. The most options for control in the industry.

Mount the ConnectPLUS in landscape mode for a unique euro-look or to replace other horizontally mounted thermostats; can be installed in standard portrait mode also.
Energy-saving features such as warm weather shutdown and temperature compensation are standard, and local weather conditions can also be displayed on the screen. New Wireless technology using 915 MHz (similar to BlueTooth, but not Wi-Fi) allows control of SunTouch accessories, like R4 relays or the Smart Sensor.

Leave about 6 to 8" (15 to 20 cm) of wire for connections.

This wiring should be size 12 or 14 AWG, in compliance with local code requirements.

A qualified person should run a dedicated circuit (ideal) from the main circuit breaker panel to the control location. If a dedicated circuit is not possible, it is acceptable to tap into an existing circuit. However, there must be enough capacity to handle the load (amps) of the floor heating system being installed, and any appliance likely to be used on the circuit such as a hairdryer or vacuum cleaner.

Always avoid circuits that have ballasted lighting, motors, exhaust fans, or hot tub pumps to reduce the likelihood of interference.

The circuit breaker should be rated 20 amps for total circuit loads up to 15 amps. A 15-amp circuit breaker may be used for total circuit loads up to 12 amps.

A GFCI (ground-fault circuit interrupter) or AFCI (arc-fault circuit interrupter) type circuit breaker may be used, but is not necessary.
